This writer intends to have children and a family life and to keep abreast of technology and scientific advancements that occur over the next 25 years. Furthermore, sustainable living is an interest of this writer and therefore the writer will be committed to participating in such initiatives that serve to bring about more sustainable and healthier living.
The houses of the future are much more likely to be more practicable than are today's houses and are likely to have features that are if not unheard of in the present, are at least presently not viable features due to the constraints of the cost of such features. However, over the next 25 years, just as the computer and other technological advances have become affordable the new products of the future will also become more affordable as time goes on.
V. Ecosystem
The ecosystem 25 years from now will likely have undergone many changes and shifts however this indeed has always been the case on planet earth as is shown in archaeological history which reveals that dinosaurs once roamed the earth. In fact, change is the one thing that is sure in regards to the world's ecosystem as science has demonstrated that the earth has been experiencing ongoing changes since the dawning of time. Again, just as in the case of other factors that affect life on earth the state of the ecosystem will be largely determined by the commitment of mankind to practice damage control and to affect the least possible impact on the already shifting and changing world ecosystem.
VI. What Can Be Offered to the Children of the Future?
It is the belief of this writer that the greatest gift that can be imparted to ones' children is the knowledge that everyone on earth indeed all individuals have an important role to play during their lifetime and to assist the children in understanding that no contribution to the world and the life in this world is too small or insignificant.

It is certainly true that no one individual has the knowledge in the present of what the future in 25 years will present as however, the commitment of individuals throughout the world to make the world a better place and one that is better fit for the children of tomorrow certainly will make a positive impact on the future.
While there are serious issues that must be faced by those such as the writer who are looking to the future it is of utmost importance that mankind keep a firmly positive outlook as this type of outlook will best serve to stimulate the ingenuity and creativity of mankind and to drive mankind toward discovering the best solutions to the problems and challenges that the world will face over the next 25 years time on earth.
